On the second night of the Lunar New Year, a pair of stunning supercars, a Lamborghini Aventador SV Coupe and a Ferrari 488 GTB, made a surprise appearance on a street next to Ho Chi Minh City’s Opera House, quickly attracting the attention of passersby.

This rare outing of the eye-catching duo was a treat for car enthusiasts, as the Lamborghini Aventador SV Coupe is a one-of-a-kind vehicle in Vietnam. Only 600 units of this model were produced worldwide, and this particular car has only had two owners in the almost ten years it has been in the country.

The Lamborghini Aventador SV LP750-4 Coupe is a rare sight, with only 600 units produced globally, and just one making its way to Vietnam in a deep blue color. However, after nearly three years, the car’s owner, a Saigon-based car enthusiast, decided to give it a unique makeover with a new coat of paint in the stunning shade of Blu Cepheus.

Car aficionados praised the new color choice, a one-of-a-kind hue in Vietnam, which was complemented by matching blue decals and center lock wheels. The result was a stunning visual upgrade to an already exceptional supercar.

The Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV features redesigned front air intakes, new side air intakes, and a revised rear end with a new diffuser, grille, and exhaust system. The most notable addition is the large, fixed carbon fiber wing, which not only enhances the car’s aggressive look but also improves aerodynamics and downforce.

With these modifications, the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV is 50 kg lighter than the standard LP700-4 model. The 6.5-liter V12 engine has also been tuned to deliver an impressive 750 horsepower, an increase of 50 horsepower over the standard version, while maintaining the same maximum torque of 690 Nm.

According to the manufacturer, the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, an improvement of 0.1 seconds over the standard model, and has a top speed of 350 km/h.

Parked behind the Lamborghini was the Ferrari 488 GTB in a striking red, featuring modifications by renowned tuning companies Mansory and Pogea Racing. Mansory designed the front and side of the car, while Pogea Racing, a new name in Vietnam’s car modification scene, worked their magic on the rear. The car sits on a set of eye-catching Vossen alloy wheels in a copper finish, perfectly complementing the Rosso Corsa red body.

The Ferrari 488 GTB is powered by a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 661 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque. Combined with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds and reach a top speed of 330 km/h.
