The Suzuki Jimny 5-door has an extended wheelbase, offering a more spacious interior compared to its 3-door counterpart. It is manufactured in India and has a converted price tag of approximately 435 million VND.
Suzuki has recently announced the launch of the 5-door Jimny in the Japanese market. Named the Jimny Nomade, this version is produced at the Gurugram plant in India.
According to the Japanese automaker, the Suzuki Jimny Nomade 2025 5-door SUV retains its rugged off-road capabilities while offering a more spacious and airy interior.
The Jimny Nomade has an overall length of 3,890 mm, which is 340 mm longer than the 3-door version. Its wheelbase has been extended to 2,590 mm, providing more legroom for rear passengers. The luggage compartment capacity has also been improved, making it more suitable for daily use.
Essentially, the Jimny Nomade shares the same design as the 3-door model launched in 2018. The only difference lies in the Gun Metallic finish on the grille. Additionally, new exterior color options are available, including Sizzling Red Metallic and Celestial Blue Pearl Metallic.
The interior of the Suzuki Jimny Nomade maintains the sporty and rugged design characteristic of the SUV line. To cater to the needs of rear passengers, Suzuki has added rear electric window controls and window trim.
The Suzuki Jimny 5-door is powered by a 1.5L naturally aspirated gasoline engine, producing a maximum output of 103 horsepower and 134 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission and a 4-wheel-drive system.
The Suzuki Jimny Nomade will be available at Japanese dealerships from April 3rd, priced at 2,651,000 yen (approximately 435 million VND), which is 566,500 yen higher than the 3-door model.
