**Over 1,000 Baojun Yep Recalled in China Due to Electronic Brake System Issue**

According to Carnewschina, the SGMW joint venture has recently announced a recall of 1,116 Baojun Yep electric vehicles after receiving reports from the China Market Regulation Administration regarding a potential fault that could increase the risk of accidents. The affected vehicles were produced between April 20 and June 14, 2023.

The reports indicate that the software within the Electronic Brake System (EBS) of the recalled vehicles may malfunction, causing the system to operate inaccurately and potentially compromising the safety of occupants.

SGMW will address this issue by upgrading the EBS software in the affected vehicles. Recall notices will be sent to customers via phone calls, emails, or other forms of communication.
