Nissan extends its warranty policy from 5 years to 10 years or 300,000 km for vehicles manufactured from 2025. Cars produced from 2021 onwards will also be eligible for the new warranty package if they meet the brand’s requirements.

In a bid to assert its brand reputation and enhance customer benefits, Nissan has recently announced its new warranty policy in the Australian market. Accordingly, owners of Nissan vehicles will be entitled to a warranty period of up to 10 years or 300,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.

Currently, only three car brands offer a 10-year warranty in Australia: Nissan, Mitsubishi, and MG. Among them, Nissan offers the highest mileage limit, followed by MG (250,000 km) and Mitsubishi (200,000 km).

Nissan’s new warranty policy applies to vehicles sold from January 1, 2025, onwards. Additionally, those who purchased cars from January 1, 2021, onwards will also be eligible for the new warranty provided they have maintained their vehicles at authorized Nissan dealerships.

If customers have serviced their vehicles at non-authorized dealerships or have not maintained regular servicing, they can still take their cars to Nissan dealerships for an inspection at a certain fee. Vehicles that pass this inspection will also be eligible for the 10-year warranty extension.

As of now, Nissan Vietnam offers a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty. This is the standard warranty period for Nissan and most other automotive brands globally.
