Despite featuring a similar electric motor system to the Launch Edition, the Wagoneer S Limited has a significantly lower power output, down by 100 horsepower.

At the Chicago Auto Show, Jeep unveiled the new Limited edition of their mid-size all-electric SUV, the Wagoneer S. Priced at $66,995 (~1.7 billion VND), this model is $5,000 cheaper than the Launch Edition, but comes with reduced engine power and fewer features.

While the Limited edition shares the same drivetrain as the Launch Edition, its power is restricted to 500 horsepower. Jeep has software-locked 100 horsepower, which can be unlocked by buyers for an additional fee.

The new Limited edition will deliver 710 Nm of torque, compared to the Launch Edition’s 837 Nm. Even with the lower power output, the Wagoneer S Limited is no slouch, accelerating from 0-60 mph in under 4 seconds, with the more powerful variant completing the task in 3.4 seconds. Both electric SUV variants have a top speed of 125 mph.

The Wagoneer S Limited is equipped with a 100.5 kWh battery system, offering an impressive range of 294 miles. In contrast, the Launch Edition boasts a slightly higher range of 303 miles. This SUV also incorporates fast DC charging, enabling a charge from 20% to 80% in just 23 minutes.

The interior of the Wagoneer S Limited boasts a host of modern amenities, complemented by meticulously crafted details. The highlight is the four-screen setup spanning the dashboard, a first for Jeep, eliminating physical buttons to create a more spacious environment.

Similar to the First Editions, the Jeep Wagoneer S Limited comes standard with a dual-pane panoramic sunroof and offers the option of adding a 19-speaker McIntosh audio system.

In a recent interview, Jeep acknowledged that the Wagoneer S is priced higher than its gas-powered counterparts. Consequently, they plan to introduce more affordable versions of this electric SUV in the future.
