A pre-owned 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado with 2,000km on the odometer is being advertised for sale in the used car market for 3.89 billion VND, while the official price of this model is 3.48 billion VND.
In reality, ever since its debut, the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has always been in high demand, resulting in a premium price to receive early delivery. Thus, purchasing a pre-owned 2024 model could be an ideal economic solution. Buying a used car means paying only 2% in registration fee instead of 10-12% for a new one, resulting in savings of up to 417 million VND while still enjoying near-new quality. With only 2,000km on the odometer, as advertised, the quality of this particular Land Cruiser Prado is essentially as good as new.
The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is built on the TNGA-F platform, shared with other SUVs and pickup trucks within the Toyota group, such as the Toyota Sequoia, Tundra, and Land Cruiser J300, as well as the Lexus GX and LX. It has dimensions of 4,920 x 2,139 x 1,859 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. Compared to its predecessor, it is 60mm longer, 254mm wider, 31mm lower, and has a 60mm longer wheelbase. It boasts a ground clearance of 221mm, with approach, departure, and ramp breakover angles of 30 degrees, 22 degrees, and 25 degrees, respectively.
In terms of design, the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado blends traditional and modern elements. Its boxy shape is shared with the recently launched Lexus GX 2024. The square headlamp and grille design take inspiration from the Land Cruiser J60 of the 1980s. It comes equipped with 20-inch multi-spoke black alloy wheels.
At the rear, the Land Cruiser Prado 2024 features new vertical tail lamps, also inspired by the J60. Unlike the previous generation, this model has a top-hinged tailgate instead of a side-opening one. The rear bumper is designed to be higher and finished in black, emphasizing its off-road capabilities.
Inside the cabin, the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024 is equipped with a 12.3-inch central infotainment screen, wireless smartphone connectivity, and a 14-speaker JBL sound system as standard. It also features tri-zone climate control for added comfort. The front seats offer heating, ventilation, and power adjustability, with memory function for the driver’s seat.
In Vietnam, the Land Cruiser Prado 2024 is powered by a 2.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, producing 267 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque. It comes with a full-time four-wheel-drive system and an 8-speed automatic transmission. This is a significant upgrade from the previous 2.7-liter naturally aspirated engine that produced only 164 horsepower and 246 Nm of torque.
