The All-New 2025 Hyundai Palisade: Now Available at Dealerships in South Korea. This CUV boasts upgraded dimensions, engine power, and a host of new features compared to its predecessor.
The 2025 Hyundai Palisade has officially launched in the South Korean market as of December 23, 2024. Nearly two months later, this large CUV has arrived at dealerships and is ready for customer delivery. The new Palisade starts at 43.83 million won (approximately 775 million VND), a significant increase from the previous model’s 38.96 million won (686 million VND). However, this bump in price brings with it a larger size, modern features, and a new fuel-efficient engine.
In terms of dimensions, the 2025 Hyundai Palisade measures 5,060 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,805 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,970 mm. Compared to the previous generation, the new model has increased its overall length and wheelbase by 65 mm and 70 mm, respectively. This, coupled with its boxy design, results in a spacious and airy interior.
The second-generation Hyundai Palisade sports a bolder design, accentuated by sharp, angular lines. The front of the vehicle is characterized by stacked vertical LED daytime running lights and a rectangular grille. The rear features vertically oriented taillights that echo the front design, emphasizing the CUV’s robust and muscular stance. It rides on 21-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels.
Inside, the new Palisade boasts a more luxurious cabin reminiscent of Genesis models. The dashboard is highlighted by a dual-screen setup, featuring a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a matching 12.3-inch central infotainment screen. The center console is elegantly designed with a seamless integration of the dual screens, accented by wood trim and ambient lighting.
With the new Palisade, Hyundai introduces the Preview ECS electronic suspension system. This system utilizes sensors and navigation data to predict the road surface and traffic conditions, adjusting the shock absorbers accordingly. This results in reduced body roll and pitch, enhancing the overall comfort of the ride.
The Hyundai Palisade offers a choice of gasoline or hybrid powertrains. The standard configuration features a 2.5L turbocharged gasoline engine, producing 277 horsepower and 422 Nm of torque.
The hybrid version combines the same 2.5L engine with an electric motor, resulting in a total output of 329 horsepower. It is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and offers a maximum range of over 1,000 km. Hyundai also plans to introduce a plug-in hybrid variant for international markets in the future.
