Ducati Unveils the New XDiavel: A Powerhouse with a Modern Twist
The Ducati XDiavel V4 is an impressive motorcycle inspired by the Ferrari supercars. Its design has been meticulously improved to set it apart from the standard Diavel V4.
This powerful motorcycle boasts a sporty and aggressive look with a stunning combination of Burning Red and Black Lava colors, accented by grey or silver details. It features eye-catching star-shaped rims, 330mm brake discs, and Brembo Stylema calipers. The XDiavel V4 is equipped with fully adjustable upside-down forks and a monoshock rear suspension, both with a 50mm outer diameter.
Ducati XDiavel V4 offers a lower and wider seat than the standard Diavel V4, providing a more relaxed and comfortable riding position. The handlebars are set back and lowered compared to the XDiavel 1260, making it easier to control and offering a more relaxed riding experience.
The motorcycle features a new 6.9-inch TFT dashboard with an 8:3 aspect ratio, allowing riders to connect via Bluetooth for calls, messaging, music, and turn-by-turn navigation through the Ducati Link app.
Additionally, riders can conveniently control all electronic systems using backlit buttons on the handlebars.
The XDiavel is powered by the same V4 Granturismo engine as the Diavel V4 and Multistrada V4, delivering an impressive 168 horsepower at 10,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 126 Nm at 7,500 rpm. With a dry weight of 229 kg, it is 6 kg lighter than the XDiavel 1260 S due to the lightweight V4 Granturismo engine and targeted weight-saving measures. The XDiavel V4 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under three seconds.
XDiavel V4 offers three power modes and four riding modes: Sport, Touring, Urban, and Wet. Riders can tailor the engine’s power delivery and the intervention of the electronic riding aid systems, including corner-dependent Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, and Cornering ABS, to suit their preferences and riding conditions.
The motorcycle also features a cruise control system and a Launch Control function, ensuring an exhilarating take-off when the rider wants to exploit the XDiavel V4’s full acceleration potential.
