VinFast and Motech Auto Service Center, through its operating franchisee in the Philippines, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on expanding the service network for VinFast electric vehicles in the market.

The agreement aims to meet the growing demand of Filipino consumers for electric vehicle conversion while affirming VinFast’s long-term commitment and determination to promote green transition in the region.

According to the MOU, VinFast and Motech will work towards converting 63 Motech workshops into authorized service centers for VinFast electric vehicles in the Philippines, providing repair, warranty, and maintenance services.

VinFast targets to operate more than 100 similar workshops in the country this year, and the recent agreement with Motech is part of the Vietnamese electric vehicle maker’s plan to expand its partner network in the Philippines.

Motech’s workshops in the Philippines will meet VinFast’s standards for infrastructure, machinery, equipment, and skilled labor. They will also prioritize providing authorized services and genuine spare parts to VinFast car owners, ensuring maximum convenience and peace of mind for customers.

Throughout the cooperation, VinFast will provide personnel training and technical consulting to help Motech quickly expand its network of authorized workshops, especially with the expected significant growth in VinFast electric vehicle deliveries in the Philippines.

Motech currently owns a diverse chain of auto service centers with various models and scales of operation, with hundreds of facilities across the Philippines, from the northern island of Tuguegarao to the cities of the Manila Capital Region and down to Mindanao in the south.

Additionally, the two parties will actively discuss business cooperation opportunities, information sharing, and marketing activities related to after-sales services for electric vehicles in Southeast Asia.

Mr. Johann Rommel Naguiat, President and CEO of Motech Automotive Philippines, shared, “Motech is thrilled about the opportunity to become an authorized service provider for VinFast electric vehicles in the Philippines. We believe in VinFast’s potential in the Southeast Asian market, and together, we aim to deliver exceptional experiences to consumers and boost the growing electric vehicle market. As VinFast enters the Philippines for the first time, our collaboration addresses range and service concerns, making electric vehicles more accessible to Filipinos. With Motech’s extensive and trusted network, VinFast customers can rest assured that their vehicles will be well taken care of anywhere in the country.”

Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, VinFast Asia’s CEO, stated, “With Motech’s reputation, experience, and extensive service network, VinFast aims to provide maximum assurance and satisfaction to Filipino customers, adhering to our three business pillars: good cars, good prices, and excellent customer care. We believe that this collaboration will make owning and driving electric vehicles easier and smoother, facilitating our customers’ participation in the global green transportation revolution.”

Since officially entering the Philippine market in 2024, VinFast has strongly affirmed its long-term commitment through attractive sales policies and an ever-expanding after-sales network, along with the sale of smart and eco-friendly automobile models.

By partnering with leading reputable after-sales service providers, VinFast not only optimizes its business operations in the Philippines but also enhances brand recognition and reinforces its customer-centric philosophy during its global expansion.
