Prime Minister Christopher Luxon expressed his excitement about visiting Vingroup – a leading conglomerate participating in almost all the most important sectors of the Vietnamese economy, as New Zealand and Vietnam have just officially upgraded their relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

The Prime Minister spent a considerable amount of time directly experiencing the VinFast electric vehicle ecosystem, from electric bicycles, motorcycles, cars to electric buses. He was particularly interested in and enquired about the electric car line-up. He shared that with a simple switch from right to left-hand drive, VinFast’s electric vehicles can definitely sell well in New Zealand.
