After 3 years of anticipation, the first Ford Mustang Mach-E GT to arrive in Vietnam has officially been registered and plated in Hanoi.
This Ford Mustang Mach-E GT was imported by a luxury car showroom in Hanoi in late January 2022.
With its striking design and impressive performance, the car was expected to quickly attract speed enthusiasts. However, the model has proven to be quite selective and has experienced slow sales over the past 3 years.
When it was first brought into the country, the car was advertised by the dealer at a price of over 5 billion VND. After a while, the price started to be adjusted downwards to 4.6 billion, then 3.7 billion, and now it stands at 3.099 billion VND.
Recently, this Ford Mustang Mach-E GT unexpectedly appeared at a vehicle inspection station in Hanoi and was subsequently registered with the plate number 29B – 629.91. However, it is unclear if the car has found an owner yet.
The first Ford Mustang Mach-E GT in Vietnam boasts a striking orange exterior with distinctive black accents. The front of the car features a unique 3D-designed plastic grille in place of a traditional radiator grille. It sports sharp LED headlights, a bold front bumper, and side air intakes with horizontal splitter bars.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E GT is equipped with 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels on the front and 21-inch wheels on the rear, complemented by red Brembo brake calipers.
At the rear, this Ford Mustang Mach-E GT features a unique three-part LED taillight design and the GT logo positioned centrally on the tailgate. As an electric vehicle, it does not have exhaust pipes, but it sports a sporty rear diffuser with air tunnels similar to the Ford Mustang.
In terms of interior, the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT offers a 5-seat configuration. Its cabin features a minimalist design, highlighted by a massive 15.5-inch infotainment screen that displays various vehicle information such as temperature, navigation, maps, phone calls, and entertainment options. Additionally, the electric SUV comes with a 9-speaker B&O sound system and a panoramic sunroof option.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E GT‘s “heart” consists of two electric motors delivering a combined output of 480 horsepower and a staggering 860 Nm of torque. With this power, the electric SUV can sprint from 0 to 96 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, while the GT Performance Edition achieves the same feat in 3.5 seconds.
The vehicle is equipped with an 88 kWh battery pack, offering an impressive range of up to 500 km on a single charge. Furthermore, the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT supports 150 kW fast charging, enabling it to charge from 10% to 80% in just 45 minutes when connected to a rapid charging system.
