Hanoi Invests Over 780 Billion VND in a 4km Road Project

Hanoi authorities have approved a project to construct a 4km road connecting the road leading to the Nam Thang Long Industrial Park and the Ring Road 3.5, with an estimated investment of over 780 billion VND.

According to the Hanoi People’s Committee Decision No.1136/QD-UBND, the road will have a total length of approximately 4km. The starting point will be at Thuong Cat ward, Bac Tu Liem district, intersecting with Ring Road 3.5, and the endpoint will be at Thuy Phuong ward, Bac Tu Liem district, connecting to the road leading to the Nam Thang Long Industrial Park. The project will occupy an area of about 15.8 hectares.

The road design follows the approved plan in Decision No. 6681/QD-UBND dated December 27, 2024, with a typical cross-section width of B=40m, and a width of B=40m at the junction with Ring Road 3.5.

The main items of investment include land clearance, construction of road foundations, surfaces, sidewalks, trees, medians, rainwater and sewage drainage systems, culverts, canals, and technical pipes, as well as traffic safety features, lighting, and fire-fighting water supply systems, among others.

The project is scheduled to be implemented from 2025 to 2026, with a total estimated investment of over 780 billion VND.

The Hanoi People’s Committee has assigned the People’s Committee of Bac Tu Liem district to take full responsibility for the accuracy and legality of the information and data presented in the approved project dossier, as well as for the entire process of managing and implementing the project, ensuring compliance with the laws of the State and Hanoi city.

Additionally, the district authorities are responsible for project management and contractor selection, adhering to the current regulations of the State and Hanoi city regarding investment project management for the construction of works using the State budget, as well as bidding and contractor selection.
