A McLaren 720S Spider owner from Da Nang recently shared on his personal page his intention to drive his supercar to Thailand, sparking interest from the online community.

Previously, there have been several instances of Vietnamese supercars entering Thailand, mostly in groups. However, there was one notable exception when the former leader of Car Passion drove a McLaren 720S through four Southeast Asian countries to scout for a future supercar journey.

While there are already over 15 McLaren 720S supercars in Vietnam, more than 8 of them are the Spider convertible model. One of these McLaren 720S Spider owners from Da Nang took it a step further by modifying his car with a Novitec body kit.

Novitec, a renowned car modification company, offers a carbon body kit for the McLaren 720S Spider that includes a new front bumper with two additional splitters and sharp fins. The kit also features new side skirts and a rear end with carbon fiber side panels and a rear diffuser.

The owner of this McLaren 720S Spider Novitec didn’t stop at the body kit; he also splurged on a brand new set of wheels. The Strasse SV10M Deep Concave FS rims, finished in full carbon, caught the eye of the Da Nang-based businessman.

Under the hood, the McLaren 720S Spider Novitec is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 700 horsepower and 769 Nm of torque. This power is sent to the wheels through a 7-speed automatic transmission, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds.

With the roof down, the McLaren 720S Spider can reach a top speed of 325 km/h, and with the roof up, it can attain an impressive 341 km/h.
