Toyota Vietnam officially announces the implementation of a recall program to replace the hood lid on the Alphard model range (hereinafter referred to as the Program).

The Program will be officially carried out by Toyota Vietnam from March 7, 2025, at all Toyota maintenance and warranty facilities nationwide. The list and number of affected vehicles in Vietnam are as follows:

The vehicles in the affected range are equipped with a front hood lid cover. During use, the hood lid cover may deform due to temperature changes. This can lead to cracking and loosening when repeated pressure is applied to the hood lid cover’s mounting. If used in this condition, the hood lid cover may detach from the vehicle and obstruct other vehicles on the road.

Customers with vehicles within the affected range will receive a notification from Toyota maintenance and warranty facilities inviting them to bring their vehicles in for inspection. Based on the inspection results, the customer’s vehicle will undergo a replacement of the new hood lid cover. The estimated inspection and repair time is approximately 0.4 hours/vehicle.

Toyota Vietnam advises customers who own vehicles within the affected range of the Program to promptly bring their vehicles to Toyota maintenance and warranty facilities nationwide for a free inspection and replacement. To save time, customers can proactively contact Toyota maintenance and warranty facilities to schedule an appointment before bringing their vehicles in for inspection.
