The “Creative Individuality, Unique Personality” contest and the VinFast VF 3 personalization trend have sparked a series of discussions within the car owner community. One of the hottest topics is the “secret recipe” to scoring high, winning big, while ensuring safety.

The Rise of Car Personalization

Car modification is a passion for car enthusiasts who want to express their individuality and leave their mark on their beloved rides. It’s not just a fad but a culture among car enthusiasts that has been thriving for decades. In recent years, with the market embracing uniquely designed vehicles, the trend towards car personalization has grown even stronger.

A prime example is the VinFast VF 3 – a model that sparked a strong personalization movement even before it reached customers. Nowadays, it’s not uncommon to spot these mini electric cars from the Vietnamese brand, adorned with diverse decorative styles, on the roads.

“Young VF 3 owners tend to favor bold changes. Most of them opt for decal stickers to alter their car’s style. Many female owners like to have cute characters like Labubu or Baby Three featured on their vehicles,” shared Mr. Nguyen Khac Trung, owner of a car upgrade workshop in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to Mr. Trung, the VF 3 is an easy-to-modify car. Many young owners not only change the decals but also the rims and even the interior color. Mr. Trung himself owns a VF 3 that has been personalized inside and out.

This explains why the “Creative Individuality, Unique Personality” contest for VF 3 personalization has created a buzz within the car owner community and VinFast enthusiasts. Just a few days after VinFast opened the registration, numerous car owners signed up with a diverse range of designs, from rugged off-road styles to luxurious supercars and cute decorations.

How to Personalize Your Car to Win Big and Stay Safe

On various forums, car owners are sharing their “secret recipes” to winning the contest. According to the organizers, submissions will be judged based on five criteria. Design and Idea carry the most weight, but criteria such as Material, Practicality, and Inspiration are equally important.

The judges will evaluate the entries independently to find the grand prize winner of VND 100 million. In addition, the three most impressive cars from the North, Central, and South regions will each receive a prize worth VND 50 million. The organizing committee will also award 10 consolation prizes of VND 10 million each to honor creative ideas. The total prize value amounts to VND 650 million.

With the criteria clearly defined, many car owners believe that you don’t have to make extensive modifications or add expensive features to win. Instead, all creative designs that meet the criteria and inspire others have a chance to succeed.

Beyond sharing ideas, many comments also guide contestants on ensuring safety during personalization. Mr. Nguyen Duc Viet, a manager at a car upgrade workshop in Hanoi, explained that manufacturers calculate the power of electrical devices to ensure the safest operation. Therefore, any upgrades related to this aspect require specific knowledge and adherence to the manufacturer’s recommended parameters.

This is why the contest organizers have stipulated that entries must not interfere with the car’s electrical system, steering system, or factory software and must not use materials that could compromise the safety of the vehicle and its occupants.

As an experienced car modifier who has personalized numerous VF 3s, Mr. Nguyen Khac Trung offered some suggestions for enhancing the vehicle’s appearance creatively and safely. For the exterior, owners can opt for decal stickers, repaint the car according to the registered color, or change the rims while maintaining the original tire size. As for the interior, they can reupholster the seats, change the color of the door panels, steering wheel, or dashboard, and add personal touches to various details.

As the 22nd of March, the date of the “VF 3 Creative Day” event – the climax of the contest, draws nearer, the atmosphere in the VF 3 user communities is buzzing with excitement. Many contestants have already teased their entries, gearing up for the final round to select the most innovative designs.

In addition to the main prizes, contestants also have the chance to win a weekly online voting prize worth VND 2 million through the VinFast Fanpage. The earlier you submit your entry, the more opportunities you have to win.

To register for the contest, VF 3 owners only need to provide their personal information, vehicle details, and illustrative images, along with a description of their creative ideas on the VinFast registration portal, before March 15th.
