In late 2024, Mr. Carlos Tavares, former CEO of Stellantis, unexpectedly resigned. Since then, the group’s leading brands, including Jeep and Peugeot, have been without a successor. During the interim period, internal restructuring continued, with significant changes in the leadership of its subsidiaries.

Stellantis has appointed Bob Broderdorf as the new Global Director of Jeep. “This is an exciting change. In my new role, Jeep and I will invest an additional $3 billion in product research this year,” shared Bob Broderdorf with Motor1.

Not only Jeep, but Stellantis has also appointed Alain Favey, former CEO of Europcar Mobility Group, as the new Director of Peugeot. The current CEO of Peugeot, Xavier Peugeot, will take on the leadership role at DS Automobile, Stellantis’ luxury brand.

In addition, Anne Abboud will take over Stellantis Pro One, the group’s commercial vehicle division. Antonio Filosa, CEO of Stellantis Americas, will also assume responsibility for leading the Quality division. Stellantis has also established a new Marketing Office, headed by Olivier François, while all software-related activities will fall under the Product Development & Technology division, led by Ned Curic.

Until a new Chairman for the group is appointed, Stellantis is expected to undergo further “restructuring” to prepare for the expansion of its product range into hybrid and electric vehicles this year.
