Top 10 Best-Selling Cars in February: A Significant Shift Towards Electric Vehicles

The top 10 best-selling car models in February witnessed a notable shift, mainly in the group of internal combustion engine vehicles. Interestingly, popular models from Korean brands such as the Hyundai Accent, Hyundai Santa Fe, Kia Seltos, and Kia K3 were absent from the list.

According to data from the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (VAMA), the total sales volume of VAMA member brands in the past month reached 17,174 units, a 10% increase compared to the previous month. TC Group’s report showed that Hyundai sold 3,022 vehicles, a slight decrease of 2% from the previous month.

Meanwhile, VinFast announced the delivery of more than 12,500 electric vehicles of all types in the same period, a 25% growth compared to the previous month. Thus, VinFast alone accounted for sales equivalent to half of the rest of the market combined (considering only VAMA members and Hyundai).
