According to initial information, on the evening of March 17, a tractor unit with a crane carrying a concrete electricity pylon and 3 people on board was traveling on Truong Son Dong Road.
When the vehicle reached Km642 (in Dung K’No Commune, Lac Duong District, Lam Dong Province), it suddenly plunged into a ravine.

The accident resulted in the deaths of Mr. D.H.M (53 years old, from Tan Tien Ward, Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province) and Mr. T.T.H (52 years old, from Thong Nhat Ward, Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province) at the scene.
Mr. N.C.C (33 years old, from My Thanh Ward, Long Xuyen City, An Giang Province) was injured and rushed to the hospital.
At the scene, the tractor unit was completely deformed, and the electricity pylon was thrown out of the cargo box. Notably, as the accident site was located approximately 50 km from the center of Lac Duong District, the rescue efforts faced significant challenges.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
