“Beauty is not defined by price”
Vu Phi Long, owner of Phi Long Auto workshop in Ho Chi Minh City, believes that the “Creative, Unique, and Personalized” contest has provided a meaningful playground for a large number of car owners. He thinks that the contest is not only a competitive playground but also an opportunity for the VF 3 community to connect and learn from each other.
For that reason, Mr. Phi Long joined the contest with his own car. His VinFast VF 3 modification stands out with a bright red color and a new look. Every detail, from the round-faced caliper to the sporty rims, showcases creativity, national pride, and the spread of Vietnamese identity.

According to Mr. Phi Long, the most important factor to win the contest is to have a unique, harmonious, and crisp modification with an interesting story or idea behind it. “In the past, in the car modification hobby, piling on a lot of expensive accessories has never been a deciding factor in creating an impressive modification. Beauty is not defined by price, but by how well the owner’s unique identity is expressed,” said Mr. Long.
VF 3 – The ideal canvas for unlimited creativity
Mr. Long believes that the trend of personalizing VF 3 has blossomed since the introduction of VinFast’s mini-SUV. This trend is not random. He attributes it to the ideal characteristics of the VF 3, from its reasonable price, compact size, to its boxy, personality-filled design.
“With a car starting at VND 299 million like the VF 3, it’s easy for owners to spend a certain amount of money on modifications without feeling too much pressure. In addition, since the VF 3 is a city car, owners want to stand out and be different from the crowd,” he analyzed.
The customers who come to Mr. Phi Long’s workshop have one thing in common: they want their VF 3 to be “unique and unprecedented, while also prioritizing convenience and safety”. Popular upgrade items for the VF 3 include paint, decorative decals, 360-degree cameras, and tire pressure sensors…
Out of the numerous modifications that have gone through Mr. Phi Long’s workshop, two stand out as the most impressive. The first one draws inspiration from famous off-road SUVs, featuring round LED lights, roof racks, covers, and storage boxes suitable for camping or long-distance adventure trips.

The second one has a softer style with a pink metallic paint job, a roof rack, and a front LED strip inspired by the GMC Hummer EV. The raised hood gives the car an overall rugged and sporty appearance.

When asked about the number of modifications his garage has done so far, Mr. Phi Long admitted that he couldn’t remember them all because there were too many. Mr. Phi Long shared that the demand for VinFast VF 3 personalization is huge, bigger than any other car line before.
That is also the reason why he is looking forward to the “VF 3 Festival” – an event taking place simultaneously in Hanoi, Danang, and Ho Chi Minh City on March 22nd. This will be a place for car owners and VF 3 enthusiasts like him to share their most unique and creative personalizations.

The top 10 best-selling car models for February saw a significant shake-up, with traditional internal combustion engine vehicles taking center stage. Notably absent from this list were popular Korean offerings from Hyundai and Kia, including the Accent, Santa Fe, Seltos, and K3 – a surprising turn of events considering their usual strong performance in the market.
