The highly anticipated Ferrari 296 VS was recently spotted undergoing testing in Maranello, Italy. This exciting new model is one of six new Ferrari vehicles planned for release in 2025, and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
Despite its heavy camouflage, the car’s front bumper with lower-designed air intakes was clearly visible and distinct from the 296 GTS and 296 GTB models. The wheel design has also been updated with thinner spokes, showcasing bright yellow brake calipers and ceramic brake discs.
While the rear design doesn’t reveal any significant changes, the camouflaged car hints at more aggressive aerodynamic diffusers. Ferrari also kept the interior well-hidden, suggesting that the 296 VS may not feature significant upgrades in the cockpit.

According to Carscoops, the Ferrari 296 VS is expected to be lighter and more powerful than the 296 GTB. The GTB is currently equipped with a 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 engine and an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 819 horsepower and 740 Nm of torque. This setup enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 330 km/h.

In addition to the 296 VS, Ferrari’s lineup for this year is rumored to include the F250, a successor to the LaFerrari, and an all-electric SUV to rival the Lamborghini Lanzador. There’s also speculation about a new model in the Icona series, further expanding Ferrari’s already impressive portfolio.
