Toyota Vietnam announced its sales performance for March 2025, revealing impressive growth. The company sold 5,370 vehicles, including 1,972 domestically assembled cars and 3,398 completely built-up imported units.
This remarkable performance translates to a 72.4% increase compared to February 2025 and a 39% year-over-year growth. With these latest figures, Toyota Vietnam is inching closer to the 1-million sales milestone in 2025, a fitting celebration of the company’s 30th anniversary in the country.
The luxury brand, Lexus, also contributed to this success with a sales figure of 85 units, reflecting a significant 102.3% growth. This brings the cumulative sales of Lexus in Vietnam to 14,010 vehicles. Combined with Lexus, Toyota Vietnam’s total sales for March 2025 reached 5,455 units, a 72.8% increase compared to the previous month.
Moreover, Vietnamese customers purchased a total of 488 Toyota hybrid vehicles in March, signifying a remarkable 169% growth compared to the same period last year. This trend underscores the rising preference for fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly vehicles in the market.

Toyota and Lexus sales performance for March 2025.
Delving into model-specific performances, the Yaris Cross emerged as the best-selling Toyota model in March 2025, with 1,185 units sold, reflecting an astonishing 312.8% growth compared to the previous month.
Following closely behind is the Vios, affectionately dubbed the “people’s car.” This popular sedan recorded sales of 1,041 units, a 38% increase, and claimed the title of the best-selling domestically assembled Toyota model in Vietnam for the month.
The Corolla Cross secured the third spot with 618 units sold, marking a 46.4% growth. The Veloz Cross also experienced a successful month, achieving a 60.9% increase with 586 units sold. Rounding out the top five is the Innova Cross, which sold 494 units, a 27.9% improvement compared to the previous month.
From April 1 to 30, 2025, Toyota Vietnam will continue its promotional campaign for four models: Vios, Yaris Cross, Veloz Cross, and Avanza Premio. Customers purchasing these models will receive a 50% discount on registration fees, ranging from 23 to 38 million VND. Additionally, the Veloz Cross and Avanza Premio come with a complimentary one-year physical damage insurance policy.
Toyota Financial Services Vietnam (TFSVN) is also offering attractive financing options, with interest rates as low as 1.99% for Vios purchases and 5.99% for the Veloz Cross, Avanza Premio, and Yaris Cross throughout April.
