Skoda Unveils the High-Performance Elroq vRS Variant for its Fastest Electric SUV

Skoda Elroq vRS captivates with its sporty and attractive design. Features such as glossy black mirror caps, dark window trim, black logo, and 21-inch alloy wheels create a bold and distinctive look. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with an engine sound simulation system, providing a more thrilling driving experience.

The interior of the Elroq vRS showcases craftsmanship with its microsuede-clad cabin. It features sports seats with massage functions, a perforated leather-wrapped steering wheel, and carbon fiber accents, exuding a premium and performance-oriented ambiance.

Skoda Elroq vRS is built on the MEB platform shared with the Volkswagen ID.4. It’s powered by two electric motors with all-wheel drive, delivering an impressive 335 horsepower. This setup enables the Elroq vRS to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds, outpacing the Enyaq vRS, Skoda’s previously fastest-accelerating production car.

The Skoda Elroq vRS is equipped with a 79 kWh battery pack, offering a substantial range of up to 547 kilometers on the WLTP cycle. While this range is slightly lower than the rear-wheel-drive Elroq Edition 85, the all-wheel-drive system and dual-motor setup deliver a more engaging driving experience. Moreover, the Elroq vRS boasts improved fast-charging capabilities, with a DC charging capacity of up to 185 kW, reducing charging time from 10% to 80% to just 26 minutes, 2 minutes quicker than the standard variants.

With a 15 mm lower ride height at the front and 10 mm at the rear, larger brakes, and a finely tuned steering system, the Elroq vRS promises a sporty and agile driving experience. The optional DCC adaptive suspension further enhances stability during cornering, enabling the SUV to rival renowned sports hatchbacks like the Honda Civic Type R in acceleration.

Although the official pricing has not been announced, the Elroq vRS is expected to be a compelling choice for those seeking a sporty electric SUV with dynamic performance, distinctive design, and exceptional acceleration.
