China boasts numerous breathtaking destinations and routes that adventure seekers aspire to experience at least once on their journeys. For entrepreneur N.H.A, originally from Haiphong but based in Ho Chi Minh City, one trip was not enough, so he embarked on his third adventure in China with his Porsche 911 Dakar.
According to his latest updates, he has arrived in Golmud, a prefecture-level city in the Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Haixi, Qinghai Province, China. Golmud is the second-largest city in Qinghai Province and the third-largest city on the Tibetan Plateau after Xining and Lhasa.
The stunning roads of Golmud, a prefecture-level city in the Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, served as a motivation for the Haiphong entrepreneur and his companions to take on this extended journey, with the latest leg alone spanning 803 kilometers.
After this trip, N.H.A.’s Porsche 911 Dakar is likely to reach the impressive milestone of 100,000 kilometers on the odometer.
One of the key strengths of the Porsche 911 Dakar, which enables the Haiphong entrepreneur to effortlessly tackle diverse terrains, is its increased ground clearance of over 50 mm compared to the standard model.
Additionally, the Porsche 911 Dakar can further raise its ground clearance by 30 mm in the High-Level mode. This mode, designed for off-road driving, is activated via a knob on the steering wheel, allowing the vehicle to clear speed bumps and potholes without scraping the underbody.
Upon taking delivery of the car, N.H.A.’s limited-edition Porsche 911 Dakar was wrapped in a new livery featuring red and yellow accents on the original GT Silver Metallic paint. The doors and front trunk lid were adorned with the number 19, holding a special significance for the owner.
This particular Porsche 911 Dakar bears the serial number 1,904 out of 2,500 units produced globally. The numbers hold a personal touch, with 19 representing the owner’s birthday and 04 representing their birth month.
The Porsche 911 Dakar is a limited-edition model, with only 2,560 units produced worldwide. It is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six twin-turbocharged engine that generates 473 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque.
This engine is paired with an 8-speed PDK automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, and rear-axle steering, enabling the Porsche 911 Dakar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. The vehicle’s top speed is electronically limited to 240 km/h.
