According to a sales consultant at a Toyota dealership in Ho Chi Minh City, the Toyota Raize will increase in price by VND 12 million. Sharing with Tri Thức – Znews, the consultant stated that the starting price of the Raize will be VND 510 million for vehicles invoiced in April.
This means that from the following month onwards, the Raize will no longer be priced at VND 498 million as it is currently. With this new price, Toyota’s A-segment SUV will be more expensive than the Hyundai Venue (VND 499-539 million) but still cheaper than the Kia Sonet (VND 539-624 million) and VinFast VF 5 (VND 529 million).
It is unclear how this price increase will affect the sales race in the A-SUV segment. However, in February, reports from the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (VAMA) showed that the Toyota Raize (135 units sold) was still lagging behind the Kia Sonet, which sold 395 units in the same period.

In fact, this reporting period also saw the Hyundai Venue surpass its Japanese competitor. The “rookie” in the A-SUV segment recorded a total of 143 units delivered to Vietnamese customers, outpacing the Raize.
The Toyota Raize is not the only imported Toyota model to undergo a price adjustment in the early part of the year. Starting from the first month of 2025, the Toyota Innova Cross and Toyota Alphard became the first imported models from the Japanese brand to receive a price increase.
Both variants of the Toyota Innova Cross witnessed a price hike, with the gasoline version now starting at VND 825 million and the HEV version priced at VND 1,013 billion. This mid-sized MPV is a fully imported model from Indonesia.

More recently, the Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 also underwent a price adjustment and is now priced from VND 4.58 billion. This increase of VND 294 million brings additional features such as a 12.3-inch screen behind the steering wheel, illuminated step boards, under-bonnet lighting, and the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 package.
Dealership staff also confirmed that Vietnamese customers can now opt for the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado with a single sunroof option, priced at VND 3.46 billion, which is VND 20 million cheaper than the panoramic sunroof version.
