Huawei Unveils Stunning Interior Images of the Maextro S800 Luxury Sedan
The tech giant has revealed a sleek and sophisticated cockpit for the Maextro S800, featuring a two-tone steering wheel and a large, “floating” screen setup reminiscent of the MBUX Hyperscreen in the Mercedes-Benz EQS. Although Huawei has not disclosed exact dimensions, experts estimate the vehicle will boast a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 17.7-inch central display, and a 12.3-inch passenger-side screen.
The interior exudes a distinct Mercedes-Benz influence, with details such as Burmester-style metal speaker grilles, integrated seat controls on the doors, digital mirrors, and a premium wood-trimmed center console. The car also features dual wireless chargers, metal control knobs, and lavish leather and suede upholstery throughout.
The Maextro S800’s rear passenger compartment takes center stage, offering two fully adjustable, separate seats with electric controls, leg rests, and the ability to recline the front passenger seat for maximum space.
A center console, trimmed in leather and wood, sits between the rear seats and includes a folding table, champagne glass holders, and a sliding storage compartment. The vehicle is expected to feature a mini-fridge and a dedicated rear-seat entertainment system.
Additionally, the car’s ceiling integrates an LED starry sky lighting system, reminiscent of a signature Rolls-Royce feature. The door-mounted screens echo the modern design of the new BMW 7-Series.
With an overall length of 5,480 mm and a wheelbase of 3,370 mm, the Huawei Maextro S800 is slightly longer than the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class but has a shorter wheelbase. The car is expected to offer two powertrain options: an all-electric version with a 94.4 kWh battery offering a range of 670-702 km (according to CLTC standards) and an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) version with a 63.3 kWh battery providing an electric range of 258-311 km.
Positioned as a super luxury sedan, the Maextro S800 is surprisingly priced significantly lower than its German competitors. This model will start at 1 million Chinese yuan (approximately 3.57 billion VND) in the Chinese market.
With its elegant design, advanced technology, and competitive pricing, the Huawei Maextro S800 is poised to become a formidable contender in the luxury sedan segment in its domestic market.
