On May 1, 2025, Toyota Motor Vietnam announced its sales performance for the past month of April. Accordingly, in April 2025, Toyota Vietnam sold 5,566 vehicles, up 3.6% over the previous month and 124% over the same period last year.
Of this number, there were 1,682 domestically assembled vehicles and 3,884 completely built-up imported vehicles. Compared to the previous month, the sales of domestically assembled vehicles decreased by 14.7% while completely built-up imported vehicles increased by 14.3%.
The total number of Toyota vehicles sold so far has reached nearly 988,000 units, getting closer to the milestone of 1 million units in 2025. This also coincides with the 30th anniversary of Toyota’s presence in Vietnam.
In addition, in April 2025, Toyota sold 600 hybrid vehicles to Vietnamese customers, up 22.9% over the previous month and 288% over the same period last year. This result shows the preference of customers for Toyota’s fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly vehicles.
For the Lexus luxury brand, April 2025 sales reached 117 units, up 37.6%. This number brings the total cumulative sales since the introduction of the Lexus brand in Vietnam to 14,126 units.
Meanwhile, the combined sales of the two brands, Toyota and Lexus, in April 2025 reached 5,683 units, up 4.17% over the previous month.
Last month, the Yaris Cross continued to lead Toyota’s lineup with 1,080 units sold, down 8.8%. This was also the best-selling completely built-up imported model of Toyota in Vietnam in April 2025.
Sales of the Toyota Yaris Cross and Vios plummeted in April 2025.
In second place in the Toyota family was the Vios, with 773 units sold, down 25.7%. This was the best-selling domestically assembled model of Toyota Vietnam in the past month.
Next was the Toyota Innova Cross with 744 units sold, up 50.6%. The corresponding figures for the Toyota Veloz Cross and Corolla Cross were 601 units (up 2.55%) and 572 units (down 7.44%), respectively.

Toyota Vietnam’s sales performance in May 2025.
This May 2025, Toyota Vietnam and its dealer network are offering a 50% discount on registration fees for five models, including the Vios, Yaris Cross, Corolla Cross, Veloz Cross, and Avanza Premio, with values ranging from 23 to 46 million VND. In addition, the Vios, Veloz Cross, and Avanza Premio will also come with one year of free auto body insurance.
There is also a preferential interest rate program with rates as low as 1.99% per year for the Vios, 5.49% per year for the Corolla Cross HEV and Yaris Cross HEV, 5.99% for the Veloz Cross, Avanza Premio, Corolla Cross gasoline engine, and Yaris Cross gasoline engine.
Moreover, ride-hailing or taxi drivers who currently own/use a commercial vehicle (yellow plate) and successfully refer other ride-hailing or taxi drivers (yellow plate) to purchase the Veloz Cross or Avanza Premio for business purposes will receive a reward of 2 million VND. This program is valid from May 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.

Toyota Vietnam Sells 3,416 Units in January 2025
