The Ultimate Imported Car Deals: Massive Savings of Up to 150 Million VND and Beyond!

The Vietnamese automotive market is experiencing a slowdown after the bustling final months of 2024. To stimulate demand and compete with locally assembled vehicles, manufacturers have swiftly introduced incentives of up to hundreds of millions of VND for imported cars.

Ford’s SUV and Pickup Truck Lineup

Among Ford’s popular pickup trucks in Vietnam, the Stormtrak and Raptor are the only two models directly imported from Thailand. In February, these two vehicles are offered with a 50% discount on registration fees for customers who place orders for Raptor or Stormtrak with 2024 VIN and complete payment before February 28. After the discount, customers can save approximately 32 million VND when purchasing the Stormtrak, with a post-discount price of around 1.007 billion VND. For the Ford Ranger Raptor, a cash incentive of 18 million VND is applied, bringing the vehicle’s price to 1.281 billion VND.

All versions of the Everest, a mid-size SUV, are imported from Thailand. The Ambiente version with a 2024 VIN currently comes with a 50% registration fee discount, lowering the price to 1.049-1.051 billion VND depending on the exterior color.

The Explorer, a large SUV imported from the USA, boasts Ford’s most attractive promotion this month. According to the distributor, customers who purchase the Explorer are eligible for a cash discount of 100 million VND. After the incentive, the Explorer’s price ranges from 1.899 billion VND.

Volkswagen Offers Discounts up to 100% on Registration Fees

According to Tri Thức – Znews, Volkswagen dealerships are running registration fee discount programs for almost all models in February. The Teramont X, for instance, comes with a 50% registration fee discount worth nearly 100 million VND. Currently, this SUV is priced at 1.998 billion VND. After the discount, the price drops to approximately 1.89 billion VND. Customers also receive a complimentary electric step when purchasing from dealerships.

Volkswagen is offering even more significant promotions for the Touareg and Tiguan SUVs, with registration fee discounts of up to 100% during February. After the incentive, the price of the Touareg SUV is reduced to 2.43-2.79 billion VND for the Elegance and Luxury versions. As for the Tiguan, customers can save approximately 168 million VND, resulting in a selling price of 1.53 billion VND.

Although the Viloran, Volkswagen’s best-selling MPV, does not come with a registration fee discount, it still offers a complimentary OCP oil change service twice a year and a Vietmap dashcam. The vehicle’s starting price is 1.989 billion VND.

Automobile Deals from the Czech Republic

Skoda, a European automobile brand, is offering promotions for customers who purchase vehicles in the month following the Lunar New Year, with registration fee discounts of up to 100%. The SUV Karoq is available in two versions: Ambition and Style. After the registration fee discount, customers can save between 99 and 108 million VND. The new prices for these versions range from 900 to 981 million VND. Karoq buyers also receive a complimentary accessory package that includes sports alloy wheels, pedal pads, door sills, steps, and floor mats.

The 7-seater SUV Kodiaq also comes with a similar promotion, lowering the price to 1.071-1.26 billion VND depending on the version. Customers who purchase the 1.4 TSI version receive additional accessories, including pedal pads, door sills, steps, and floor mats. However, the rear-seat headrests are only included with the 2.0 TSI version. According to Skoda dealers, the promotion is valid for the first 50 customers of the month and may end early if the gift stock runs out.

Mercedes-Benz Imported Cars on Sale

Currently, in addition to its locally assembled models, Mercedes-Benz continues to import most of its SUVs and sedans from Europe. In the first two months of the year, some of these imported models are offered with registration fee discounts to stimulate demand and clear out old stocks. The GLB 35 4MATIC, for instance, comes with a 50% registration fee discount, ranging from 111.4 to 133.7 million VND depending on the registration location. After the discount, the vehicle’s price is approximately 2.09-2.11 billion VND.

The Mercedes-AMG A 35 4MATIC also benefits from a similar promotion, saving customers between 90.9 and 109 million VND depending on the version. After the incentive, the A 35 4MATIC is priced between 2.15 and 2.16 billion VND. These promotions apply only to 2022 VIN stock vehicles, and the availability of versions and color options may vary.
