The Chevrolet Corvette C7 is an exhilarating sports convertible and one of the most powerful cars in Vietnam, with a top output of 650 horsepower delivered by the Z06 variant. However, there’s an even mightier version, the ZR1, which hasn’t made its way into the country.
Recognizing the rarity of the ZR1, an owner of a standard Chevrolet Corvette C7 in Ha Nam province took the initiative to modify their car to resemble the high-performance ZR1 model.
The body kit transforms the car’s character, featuring a massive front splitter, side air vents styled after the ZR1, side skirts, and most notably, an aggressive rear diffuser.
In its standard form, the Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray is equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 engine that generates a maximum of 460 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 630 Nm of peak torque at 4,600 rpm. Mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission, the car sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in an impressive 3.7 seconds.
The Chevrolet Corvette C7 Z06, on the other hand, is a beast in its own right, packing a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that delivers a staggering 650 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 880 Nm of torque at 3,600 rpm. With a 7-speed manual transmission, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, while the optional 7-speed automatic shaves off a further 0.2 seconds. The top speed is an astonishing 298 km/h.
Safety features on the Chevrolet Corvette C7 include ABS, traction control, electronic differential, a rearview camera, front and side airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, and tire pressure monitoring.
