Select Mazda dealerships in Hanoi and Central Vietnam are offering a promotion worth 35 million VND for the 2025 CX-5 Deluxe model.

As a result, the Mazda CX-5 Deluxe is now offered at a discounted price of 714 million VND. According to sales staff, further negotiation may result in a price even lower than the advertised discount by a few million VND.

In addition to the price discount, customers will receive a complimentary one-year physical damage insurance and an after-sales service voucher. However, the value of the service voucher varies by region: approximately 5 million VND in Central Vietnam and up to 15 million VND at certain dealerships in Hanoi.

Previously, in April, Mazda dealerships attracted attention by offering the 2024 CX-5 model at a starting price of just 694 million VND, an unprecedented low for the C-segment CUV category. While the 2025 version doesn’t have as steep a discount, the current price still positions the CX-5 competitively with B-segment SUVs/CUVs such as the Kia Seltos (599 – 799 million VND), Hyundai Creta (599 – 699 million VND), Mitsubishi Xforce (599 – 705 million VND), and Toyota Yaris Cross (650 – 765 million VND).

The attractive pricing strategy has paid off, with Mazda CX-5 recording impressive sales figures for April 2025. According to the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (VAMA), 1,416 units of the CX-5 were sold in April, the highest monthly sales figure so far this year. This represents a nearly 29% increase compared to March, with 317 more vehicles sold. The CX-5 also overtook consistent sellers like the Ford Ranger and Mitsubishi Xpander to become the best-selling model in Vietnam for the month.

The Mazda CX-5 is currently available in Vietnam in six different versions, with two engine options. The 2.0L naturally aspirated engine produces 154 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque and is paired with front-wheel drive. Meanwhile, the higher-end model features a 2.5L engine that generates 188 horsepower and 252 Nm of torque and comes with an all-wheel-drive system (AWD).
