On May 16, 2025, TC Group announced its sales results for the previous month. According to the report, Vietnamese consumers purchased a total of 4,470 Hyundai vehicles in April 2025, a 16.7% decrease compared to the previous month.
Unlike in March 2025, when the best-selling Hyundai model in Vietnam was the Accent, the Creta SUV took the top spot in April. Creta’s sales reached 1,059 units, a remarkable 122.4% growth.
The Hyundai Accent ranked second, with 568 units sold, a significant decrease of 45.8%. As a result, the Accent lost its leading position in the B-segment sedan category to its rival, the Honda City, which sold 957 units.
The Hyundai Tucson came in third in terms of sales, with 506 units delivered to Vietnamese consumers, a 51.6% decline. Following closely was the Hyundai Stargazer, with sales of 333 units, a 16% increase.
Meanwhile, the Hyundai Grand i10 ranked fifth, with sales decreasing by 9.9% to 325 units. Right behind the Grand i10 was the Hyundai Venue, with 224 units sold, a 28.4% drop.
The next positions were held by the Hyundai Custin, with sales of 165 units (a 28.9% increase), the Hyundai Santa Fe with 129 units (a 68.3% decrease), the Hyundai Elantra with 76 units (a 7% increase), and the Hyundai Palisade with 69 units (a 4.5% increase).
On the commercial vehicle front, Hyundai sold 1,041 units, including 14 retail vehicles in the international market. This represented a 10.1% decrease compared to the previous month’s commercial vehicle sales.
