The Ford Mustang V8 is a rare sight in Vietnam, partly due to the high taxes on this model and its powerful engine. As a result, many opt for the standard 2.3-engine version, making the Ford Mustang GT a unique and more expensive choice.
This particular Ford Mustang GT stands out even more as its owner has fitted it with a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 body kit.
According to our sources, there is only one Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 of the latest model in Vietnam, owned by Dang Le Nguyen Vu.
The exterior upgrade to the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 not only enhances the car’s visual appeal but also complements its original powerhouse – a V8, 5.0-liter engine.
The front end boasts a stunning layered bumper that extends to the sides, giving the Mustang a more aggressive look. It also features a sporty hood, and side skirts that not only add a unique touch but also come with potential risks when driving over curbs.
At the rear, you’ll find a new bumper with black-painted exhaust tips, but the showstopper is undoubtedly the massive wing from the Shelby GT500. Topping it off is the iconic cobra logo, a signature of Ford’s high-performance models.
Under the hood, the Ford Mustang GT is equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine that delivers 460 horsepower and 569 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed transmission in the 2015 model, unlike the later versions that offer a 10-speed automatic.
