On June 6, 2025, Thaco Auto, the authorized distributor of BMW vehicles, officially introduced two brand new models to the Vietnamese market: the X3 and the 5-Series.

Thus, after a year of anticipation, the all-new BMW 5-Series has finally been unveiled in Vietnam, alongside the BMW X3 2025, which also marks its first year of global launch.

In Vietnam, the BMW X3 2025 is officially distributed with a starting price of VND 2.28 billion, while the all-new BMW 5-Series will be priced from VND 2.59 billion.

The new BMW X3 features a squarish front-end design, adorned with the brand’s signature kidney grille. However, the grille now incorporates vertical slats with a cross-weave pattern. The optional base model and standard higher-end variant feature a hidden LED light bar that surrounds the grille.

The 2025 BMW X3 is equipped with LED headlights that integrate two L-shaped LED daytime running lights. Below the grille sits a new front bumper with a wide central air intake, accented by thick silver trim. The corners of the front bumper feature faux vertical air intakes decorated with chrome inserts.

In Vietnam, the new BMW X3 is offered in two variants: the BMW X3 20 xDrive and the BMW X3 20 xDrive M Sport. Both are powered by a high-performance 2.0L 4-cylinder gasoline engine, featuring BMW TwinPower Turbo and Mild Hybrid 48-volt technology, delivering an impressive 140 kW (190 hp) and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.5 seconds.

All variants are equipped with an 8-speed Steptronic transmission, paddle shifters on the steering wheel, and BMW’s intelligent xDrive all-wheel-drive system for superior traction and handling. Additionally, the BMW X3 20 xDrive M Sport variant includes the Sport Boost function.

On the other hand, the all-new BMW 5-Series is equipped with TwinPower Turbo engines that deliver exceptional performance and meet stringent emission standards thanks to “Dual Injection” fuel injection technology and “Exhaust Valve Switch-Off” technology.

Notably, both the 520i and 530i variants feature a Mild Hybrid 48-volt system paired with an 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission, resulting in dynamic performance, fuel efficiency, and environmental friendliness.
