The all-new Mercedes-AMG SL43 is a stunning sports convertible now available in Vietnam. With its sleek design, impressive performance, and modern interior, it has garnered significant attention, with nearly 10 units imported into the country.

However, for reasons unknown, many owners seem to have quickly grown tired of their Mercedes-AMG SL43, with some reselling the car after just a year or even a few months of ownership. One such example is a white SL43 with a red interior.

This particular SL43 has only clocked 2,000 kilometers and was sold to a showroom in Hanoi after being on the market for just over a week. The asking price was nearly VND 6 billion, but it is unclear what the final selling price was.

The exterior of this white Mercedes-AMG SL43 features a striking red interior. With such low mileage, the car is practically brand new. In Vietnam, the SL43 has a retail price of nearly VND 7 billion, excluding registration fees, which can bring the total cost to almost VND 8 billion.

This seventh-generation Mercedes-AMG SL43 boasts an impressive front end with a curved grille formed by vertical slats, centered by the iconic three-pointed star logo.

The new triangular LED headlights and connected front air intakes create a bold statement. The side air intakes feature two small dividers, and the sports car sits on new, double-spoke alloy wheels with silver finish and yellow brake calipers.

At the rear, the latest SL43 sold in Vietnam sports new LED taillights, a split trunk to accommodate the convertible roof, and symmetrical round twin exhaust pipes.

Of course, we can’t forget the most important feature of the 2024 Mercedes-AMG SL43: its soft top. Unlike its predecessor, this generation SL43 boasts a soft fabric roof, reducing the car’s weight by a significant 21 kilograms.

The soft top can be raised or lowered in just 15 seconds at the touch of a button, even while the car is in motion, at speeds of up to 60 km/h—an impressive feat, as most manufacturers recommend doing so only at speeds below 50 km/h.

Step inside the SL43, and you’ll immediately notice the seventh generation’s interior upgrades. The sports seats envelop the driver and front passenger, while the rear seats offer a more comfortable and spacious experience, perfect for children accompanying their parents on joyrides.

The SL43 also features a large 11.9-inch infotainment screen with various customizable features, including adjustable positioning to prevent glare. Behind the steering wheel sits a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

Driving modes can be adjusted via a rotary dial on the center console, and an exhaust sound adjustment system is standard. The air vents resemble jet engine turbines, adding to the sporty ambiance.

Under the hood, the Mercedes-AMG SL43 is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces an impressive 375 horsepower at 6,750 rpm and 480 Nm of torque between 3,250 and 5,000 rpm. Additionally, a mild-hybrid system can provide an extra 13 horsepower temporarily.

This powerful engine is mated to a 9-speed MCT automatic transmission, enabling the SL43 to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 275 km/h.
