Imported Cars: Early Bird Special Offers, Savings of Up to a Hundred Million!

Just the first week after the holiday on April 30 and May 1, many car brands in Vietnam have launched promotional programs in various forms. Countless imported cars benefit from these promotions, with discounts of up to hundreds of millions of VND.

Subaru’s SUV Gets a Huge Discount

The Japanese brand continues to offer attractive promotions for the Subaru Forester, a compact SUV.

These are the last Foresters produced at the Subaru plant in Thailand. After clearing out inventory, Subaru will import the Forester from Japan for Vietnamese customers.

The three Subaru Forester variants, originally priced from 969 million to 1.199 billion VND, are now available at 799-969 million VND. Thus, the highest discount of 230 million VND is applied to the Forester 2.0 i-S EyeSight, while the standard Forester 2.0 i-L receives a 170 million VND discount.

Also in May, Vietnamese customers buying the Subaru Crosstrek will enjoy discounts of 99-139 million VND depending on the version. After the promotion, the imported SUV from Japan is priced at 999 million VND for the 2.0 i-S EyeSight version and 1.129 billion VND for the 2.0 i-S EyeSight e-Boxer Hybrid version.

Honda Offers Registration Fee Support

This month, Honda is offering a 50% registration fee support for the Honda City, Honda CR-V G/L versions, Honda Civic G/RS versions, and the G version of the Honda BR-V.

For the Honda BR-V G version, the 50% registration fee support translates to a benefit of 31.5 million VND. The Honda BR-V is an Indonesian-imported model, currently available in two versions priced at 629 million and 705 million VND, respectively.

For the Honda Civic, the promotion equates to a benefit of 39.5-44.5 million VND for the G and RS versions. The latest upgraded version of this C-segment sedan is still imported from Thailand, with the G and RS pure gasoline versions priced at 789 million and 889 million VND, respectively.

Additionally, the brand offers a one-year Honda insurance package for customers purchasing hybrid models. Currently, Honda has two hybrid models in Vietnam, the Honda CR-V e:HEV RS and Honda Civic e:HEV RS, both imported from Thailand.

Toyota’s Urban SUV with Registration Fee Discount

Toyota Vietnam announces a promotion offering registration fee support for various models, including the Toyota Yaris Cross and Toyota Corolla Cross.

The Toyota Yaris Cross is imported from Indonesia, while the Toyota Corolla Cross is still imported from Thailand.

With prices ranging from 650 million to 765 million VND, the promotion for the Toyota Yaris Cross equates to a value of 33-38 million VND. For the two Toyota Corolla Cross versions, the promotion translates to a value of 41-46 million VND.

At the moment, the Toyota Yaris Cross is the leading model in the B-segment SUV market, surpassing its domestic rival, the Mitsubishi Xforce. The Toyota Corolla Cross is having a successful start to the year, currently ranking as the third best-selling urban SUV in Vietnam, after the Yaris Cross and Xforce.

Mitsubishi’s “Hot” Model with Registration Fee Support

Excluding a few Xpander versions and the C-segment SUV Outlander, all Mitsubishi passenger cars in Vietnam are imported models.

This May, customers choosing the Mitsubishi Xforce (excluding the GLX version) will receive support for 50% of the registration fee, equivalent to a value of 32 million to 35.5 million VND. Last year, the Mitsubishi Xforce was the brand’s second best-selling model in Vietnam, only surpassed by the Mitsubishi Xpander.

For the Mitsubishi Xpander AT Premium, the brand offers a promotion that includes 50% registration fee support and a 360-degree camera gift, totaling a value of 53 million VND. For the Xpander Cross variant, the similar promotion has a maximum converted value of 55 million VND. Currently, the Mitsubishi Xpander has four versions available in Vietnam, priced from 560 million to 698 million VND.

Mitsubishi is offering a 50% registration fee discount and a 10 million VND gift for the three Triton pickup truck variants, totaling a discount of 30 million to 38 million VND. For the Mitsubishi Attrage, the promotion to clear 2024 VIN cars includes a maximum 100% registration fee support, fuel vouchers, and a rearview camera or shark fin antenna, applicable to the MT and CVT Premium versions.

The total converted value of the promotion for this B-segment sedan imported from Thailand currently ranges from 26 million to 48.5 million VND.

Suzuki Offers Deals on New and Used Cars

Currently, Suzuki’s passenger car portfolio in Vietnam includes only the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid, a small MPV, and the Suzuki Jimny, an off-road SUV.

This May, the brand is offering a 50% registration fee support for the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid, equivalent to a value of 30 million VND.

For 2024 production XL7 Hybrid models, customers also receive additional brand gifts, including 20 million VND in cash and a rear spoiler and rain visors, bringing the total promotion value to 55 million VND.

For the Suzuki Jimny, the total promotion value is 60 million VND, including 50% registration fee support and a 20 million VND gift. Imported from Japan, the Suzuki Jimny has a starting price of 789 million VND, increasing to 799 million VND for the two-tone exterior color option.
