On June 13, 2025, TC Group announced its sales results for May 2025. The total sales volume of Hyundai vehicles in May was 4,063 units, a 9.1% decrease. This brings Hyundai’s cumulative sales for the first five months of 2025 to 20,007 units.
The Accent maintained its position as Hyundai’s best-selling model in May, with 638 units delivered to Vietnamese customers, reflecting a 12.3% growth. However, this popular Korean model couldn’t reclaim the top spot in the B-segment sedan category. Instead, the Toyota Vios took the lead as the best-selling sedan in May, with 1,148 units sold.
The Hyundai Tucson secured the second position with 531 units sold, a modest 4.9% increase. With these results, the Tucson ranks third in the C-segment SUV category in Vietnam, following the Ford Territory and Mazda CX-5.
Ranking third was the B-segment SUV, Hyundai Creta. In its last month of sales before the new model launch, Creta recorded 474 units sold, a significant drop of 55.2%. This decline is understandable, given that consumers often wait for the new model before making a purchase.
Following in the Hyundai family is the Stargazer, with 327 units sold, a slight decrease of 1.8%. Next is the Hyundai Grand i10, whose sales dipped by 13.8% to 280 units. Nonetheless, the Grand i10 remains the best-selling model in the A-segment in Vietnam.
The sixth position in the Hyundai lineup goes to the Santa Fe. This mid-size SUV witnessed a remarkable 68.9% growth, with 218 units sold.
The Hyundai Venue comes in seventh with 192 units sold, a 14.2% decline, followed by the Hyundai Custin in eighth place with 145 units, a 12.1% drop.
The remaining spots go to the Hyundai Palisade and Elantra. The Palisade witnessed a notable 37.6% growth, selling 95 units, while the Elantra saw a 13.7% increase, selling 58 units.
Hyundai’s commercial vehicles recorded sales of 1,105 units in May, including 63 Solatis sold in international markets. This represents a 6.1% increase compared to the previous month.
