As scheduled, at 3 pm on June 24, 2025, the prestigious vehicle license plate 43A-888.88 from Da Nang will be up for auction for the third time.
This license plate has a starting bid of VND 500 million, the highest since the policy of auctioning license plates took effect in August 2023.
The starting price is set according to Clause 6 of the Decree on Auctioning Vehicle License Plates and applies to license plates with special formats such as AAAAA, ABCDE, and other special cases (where the letter A is greater than 4).
In addition to the aforementioned car license plate, the upcoming auction on June 24 will also feature several attractive motorcycle license plates. Notable mentions include 50AA-666.66 (Ho Chi Minh City), 26AA-567.89 (Son La), and 67AA-555.55 (An Giang).
These license plates also have a starting bid of VND 50 million each, as they fall under the category of license plates with special number sequences, high feng shui value, memorability, and symbolic significance.
To participate in the auction, interested individuals need to follow these steps: Register an account on the online auction portal of the Ministry of Public Security; Make the required advance payment within the specified timeframe and regulations; Complete the registration process and select the desired license plate(s) before the auction commences.
