It’s hard to deny that the McLaren P1 GTR is one of the brand’s most extraordinary vehicles since its rebirth with the MP4-12C in 2011.

Up Close with the McLaren P1 GTR: A Race-Ready Supercar Now Street-Legal
When McLaren first unveiled the P1 GTR, it was purely a track toy, with a limited production run of just 58 units. However, Lanzante, a renowned tuning company, began the process of converting these race-focused machines into street-legal monsters.
Out of the original 58 P1 GTRs, it is believed that 40 have been approved for road use, and now, one of these rare gems is up for sale.
The stunning P1 GTR you see here is currently up for sale through F1rst Motors in Dubai. It sports a gorgeous orange and black color scheme, accented with dark red carbon fiber details, including the rear diffuser and door sills.
Other notable upgrades from a standard P1 include a large rear wing, a new front end with a splitter and extended dive planes, and a redesigned rear end.
With an asking price of 12.3 million AED, or $3.3 million at current exchange rates, you’d expect a very special cabin, and that’s precisely what the P1 GTR delivers. It features two removable carbon fiber steering wheels and red carbon fiber accents. The seats are also beautifully trimmed in black and red leather.
When it comes to performance, the P1 GTR does not disappoint. Its twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 hybrid powertrain has been tuned to produce 986 horsepower, an increase of 83 hp over the standard P1.
McLaren also shed 110 lbs (50 kg) of unnecessary weight, making this already ferocious car even quicker.
