Since then, they have expanded their offerings with the introduction of the Jaecoo J7 and J7 PHEV, capturing the attention of automotive enthusiasts nationwide.
This dynamic duo is now gearing up for their next move, as confirmed by Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam’s representative. In the third quarter of this year, they will be unveiling yet another captivating model—the Omoda C7. Get ready to witness the unveiling of this stunning SUV and experience the thrill of its arrival on Vietnamese roads.
The Omoda C7 is set to make its debut in Vietnam, going head-to-head with the Mazda CX-5 and Honda CR-V.
The Omoda C7 is a sleek and stylish SUV that falls into the C-segment category, joining its siblings, the Jaecoo J7 and J7 PHEV. With dimensions of 4,660 mm in length, 1,875 mm in width, and 1,670 mm in height, along with a wheelbase of 2,720 mm, it promises a spacious and comfortable ride.
Adopting the “Art in Motion” design language, the Omoda C7 boasts a distinctive front end with a bird-like hood, sharp headlights, and a borderless grille that seamlessly blends into the front bumper. The hexagonal grille pattern, painted in the body color, evokes an association with the luxurious Lexus RX of the newest generation.

The multi-layered dashboard, two-spoke steering wheel, 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster, and large head-up display (HUD) enhance the overall driving experience. The air vents are uniquely positioned at the top of the dashboard, just below the central speaker.
The centerpiece of the interior is the massive 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which can slide to the right for easy access by the front passenger. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, ventilated front seats, a massaging driver’s seat, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, wireless charging, and an 8-speaker Sony audio system further elevate the in-cabin experience.

Following in the footsteps of the Jaecoo J7, the Omoda C7 will be offered in Vietnam with two engine options: a gasoline engine and a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system. The gasoline variant is powered by a turbocharged 1.6L engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The PHEV version, on the other hand, utilizes the Super Hybrid System (SHS), combining a 1.5 TGDI gasoline engine with an electric motor to deliver an impressive combined output of 346 horsepower.
The 18.4 kWh battery in the PHEV model enables the vehicle to travel up to 95 kilometers on electric power alone. With a full tank of gas and a fully charged battery, the Omoda C7 offers a remarkable total range of 1,250 kilometers. This efficiency results in an impressive fuel consumption figure of just 5.9 liters per 100 kilometers.
The Omoda C7 is poised to take on established competitors in the Vietnamese market, including the Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5, Ford Territory, and Hyundai Tucson. While the exact pricing details have not yet been revealed, we can expect a competitive positioning that aligns with the features and performance this SUV brings to the table.
