In August of last year, luxury car manufacturer Lamborghini officially unveiled its brand new model, the Temerario. This super car is set to continue the success of the Huracan, featuring bold changes in design, interior, and powertrain.
With these exciting updates, the Lamborghini Temerario is expected to arrive soon in the Vietnamese market. However, another Southeast Asian country has already beaten it to the punch – Thailand. Over there, the wealthy are shelling out more than 19 billion VND to get their hands on this exotic ride.
The front of the Temerario boasts impressive LED headlights with a sleek, elongated, and horizontal design. But the most intriguing feature is the hexagonal LED daytime running lights, giving the front end a concept car-like appearance.
Moving to the sides, the Temerario sports vertical air intakes, a set of multi-spoke twin wheels, and at the rear, a rather cool diffuser that doesn’t extend to the sides, showcasing the tires. Above it sits the hexagonal exhaust and LED taillights.
Between the engine cover and the roof is a small glass panel that allows just enough sunlight into the cockpit. Similar to its Gallardo and Huracan siblings, the Temerario features side-opening doors with handles located lower, Ã la Gallardo.
Inside, the Temerario shares a similar dashboard layout, featuring a configurable digital instrument cluster, a vertical touchscreen, and a start button on the fighter jet-inspired center console. The flat-bottom steering wheel also houses the drive mode selector and EV button.
Drivers can choose from four driving modes: the new Citta (city) mode, the familiar Strada, and the upgraded Sport and Corsa Plus modes, with the latter offering the most thrilling experience by allowing ESP to be turned off.
The Lamborghini Temerario also includes a drift mode with three settings catering to different skill levels. If you want to showcase your drifting skills or play like a pro, you can record the action using the Lamborghini Vision Unit with three cameras capturing road, onboard, and over-the-shoulder firewall views.
Finally, the Lamborghini Temerario is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 789 horsepower from 9,000 to 9,750 rpm. Three electric motors add an extra 118 horsepower, bringing the total output to 907 horsepower. Lamborghini claims the Temerario can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 343 km/h.
