According to Audi sales staff, the Q6 e-tron, which was recently sighted at a Hanoi emission testing station, is set to be launched this month with an expected price tag of VND 3.1 billion.
Built on the same Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture as the Porsche Macan EV, the Audi Q6 e-tron boasts impressive dimensions: 4,711 mm in length, 1,993 mm in width, 1,648 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,899 mm.
Defying the conventional dull design of electric vehicles, the Audi Q6 e-tron stands out with its captivating exterior. It sports a fully closed-off Singleframe grille, a two-tier lighting system with LED daytime running lights on top and main headlights below.
Furthermore, both the daytime running lights and taillights employ active digital lighting technology, allowing them to display various symbols and even communicate with other road users.
The Q6 e-tron seamlessly blends soft curves with muscular accents, featuring a prominent D-pillar and side swage lines that flow smoothly into the steeply raked rear windshield.
Depending on the trim level, the SUV will be fitted with either 18-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels. An exterior package with black accents, including black Audi logos and window trim, is also available.
The Audi Q6 e-tron offers a spacious 5-seat cabin with two rows of seats. The luggage compartment provides a generous 526 liters of space, expandable to 1,259 liters by folding down the rear seats. Additionally, there’s a small 64-liter storage compartment under the hood.
The interior showcases three screens on the dashboard, including a curved 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a central 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
To the side is a 10.9-inch entertainment screen for the front passenger, featuring a privacy shield that allows them to watch movies without distracting the driver. The SUV also comes equipped with a head-up display and a premium 22-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.
While the specifics of the Audi Q6 e-tron’s powertrain for the Vietnamese market remain unknown, the vehicle is offered with two different electric motors internationally, producing 382 hp and 422 hp, respectively. These motors are paired with a new lithium-ion battery pack boasting a capacity of 100 kWh, enabling a range of up to 625 km on the European testing cycle.
The all-electric SUV supports fast DC charging at up to 270 kW, allowing drivers to gain 255 km of range in just 10 minutes of charging. Charging the battery from 10% to 80% takes approximately 21 minutes.
