A newly-sighted Porsche 911 perched atop a flatbed truck on public roads has sparked intrigue among the online community. This rare sighting of a 911 GT3 RS, an extremely scarce yet speedy supercar in Vietnam, has captured the attention of many.
This is the only Porsche 911 GT3 RS of its kind in Hanoi. It’s a 991.1 version, and only two of these cars are on the roads in Vietnam. However, this particular car is the only one car enthusiasts can admire on the streets, as the other one belongs to a discreet car collection of a businessman in Tay Nguyen.
Both Porsche 911 GT3 RS 991.1 cars are finished in an identical eye-catching orange color, with yellow wheels and brake calipers. This makes it impossible to tell them apart based on their exterior alone.
Nevertheless, the first car was sold by a showroom in Ho Chi Minh City to a VIP customer who is unlikely to part ways with this rare Porsche. Therefore, the car spotted in Hanoi must be the second one.
This newly-homed Porsche 911 GT3 RS in Hanoi boasts a 4.0-liter Boxer six-cylinder engine that delivers an impressive 500 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 460 Nm. The engine is equipped with a direct fuel injection system (DFI).
Coupled with a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, this supercar accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 310 km/h.
