The Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 is widely regarded as the pinnacle of the 911 lineage, debuting as the flagship variant of the beloved 997.2 generation in 2011. With only 600 units produced globally, it was the first 911 to feature a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine and the last GT3 RS offered with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Pristine examples of the 911 GT3 RS 4.0 rarely surface on the market, but when they do, they command significant attention. Earlier this year, one such vehicle sold for €471,875, or approximately $554,000, at an auction in Paris, despite having 10,094 km on the odometer.

More recently, an extremely low-mileage example with just 319 miles on the clock was sold in the United States for an astonishing $1,001,917. The seller of this vehicle is asking for double that amount.

This GT3 RS 4.0 is currently listed for sale at Graham Rahal Performance in Zionsville, Indiana, with an asking price of $2,699,996. The car has only covered 341 miles since new, and unlike most other 4.0-liter models, it is not finished in white.

In fact, it is one of only 39 cars to feature a Paint-to-Sample finish, a personalization program that offers a range of custom colors at a premium. Although its GT Silver paint may not be the most exotic of the pricey palette, it certainly looks stunning.

Contrasting the GT Silver exterior are the standard GT3 RS 4.0 black graphics, accented with vibrant red details. The car also sports black and red mirror caps. It sits on gorgeous black centerlock wheels, complemented by yellow brake calipers.

The interior is equally striking, trimmed in black leather and Alcantara with red seatbelts and door pulls. A plaque on the dashboard indicates that this is car number 318 of the 600 produced.

Notably, the original owner of this Porsche paid $216,210, equivalent to $308,990 today. Despite being 14 years old, this car has appreciated by over $2.3 million, a sum that could buy multiple hypercars.
