In 2020, a rare Maserati Ghibli Ribelle edition, of which only 30 units were produced for the Asian market, was officially imported to Vietnam. It was then sold to a wealthy individual in Vung Tau City, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, now known as Ho Chi Minh City.
At the time of its arrival, the Maserati Ghibli Ribelle had a selling price of over 6.5 billion VND (approximately $276,000), and the on-road price was nearly 7.5 billion VND (about $318,000). Fast forward five years, and the car has lost more than half its value, currently being offered for sale at 2.5 billion VND (around $106,000).
Over the last five years, the car has traveled more than 18,000 miles, equivalent to 28,968 km, which is quite impressive and indicates minimal usage. The exterior and interior of the car remain in excellent condition. For those seeking a unique luxury sedan like the Maserati Ghibli Ribelle, it is now available for purchase at a price of 2.5 billion VND.
In fact, there were an additional 200 units of the Maserati Ghibli Ribelle produced for three other markets: Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Each of these cars featured a “One of 200” logo, while the Ghibli Ribelle imported to Vietnam, being one of only 30 units produced for the Asian market, proudly bears the “One of 30” logo.
The standout feature of the Maserati Ghibli Ribelle, which sets it apart from the standard model, is its striking Nero Ribelle black exterior color. Complementing this black metallic paint is a set of 20-inch GTS alloy wheels in silver, along with eye-catching red brake calipers.
But that’s not all—the first Maserati Ghibli Ribelle to arrive in Vietnam also came with the “Nerissimo” exterior package. With this option, the chrome details of the Ghibli Ribelle take on a more menacing look, as they are finished in glossy black, including the grille mesh, air vent trim, door handles, exhaust tips, and taillights.
The Maserati Ghibli Ribelle boasts a sophisticated and luxurious interior with a predominantly black Nero Ribelle theme, accented with red. A unique feature of the Ribelle is the black interior door panels contrasted with red armrests, as well as the sports seats upholstered in premium black and red leather with contrasting stitching. Even the steering wheel is wrapped in black and red leather and features paddle shifters.
Maserati further enhanced the Ghibli Ribelle with the Ribelle Plus accessory package, which includes privacy window liners that provide one-way visibility, heat insulation, and improved sound insulation, adding to the car’s overall appeal. Other notable features include full LED matrix headlights with intelligent lighting technology, a sunroof, and a Harman Kardon 10-speaker audio system.
Under the hood, the Maserati Ghibli Ribelle is powered by a V6 twin-turbocharged engine with a displacement of 3.0 liters, designed by Maserati Powertrain and manufactured at the Ferrari plant in Maranello. This engine delivers a maximum output of 350 horsepower and a peak torque of 500 Nm.
In the case of the limited-edition Maserati Ghibli Ribelle in Vietnam, this power is sent to the rear wheels through an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission with paddle shifters mounted behind the steering wheel.
As a result, the Maserati Ghibli Ribelle, one of the exclusive 30 units produced for Asia, can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 267 km/h.
