Lexus recently took the wraps off the limited-edition Original Edition of its LBX Morizo RR.

The Lexus LBX Morizo RR Original Edition is based on the urban SUV LBX and is directly inspired by the personal vehicle of Toyota’s Chairman, Mr. Akio Toyoda. This special edition of the Morizo RR will be produced in a limited run of just 100 units, exclusively for the Japanese domestic market.

The Lexus LBX Morizo RR Original Edition boasts an exclusive Sonic Chrome gray exterior with bright yellow accents on the front bumper and brake calipers. This design takes direct inspiration from the LBX concept car showcased by the Japanese automaker last year and replicates the personal vehicle of Toyota’s Chairman, Mr. Akio Toyoda.

It is unclear what color scheme the interior of the Original Edition will feature. Previously, the exhibit car showcased a racing seat and steering wheel in brown Ochre, complemented by yellow seatbelts.

Powering the Lexus LBX Morizo RR is a 1.6L three-cylinder turbo engine, coded G16E-GTS, that delivers an impressive 305 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque.

Customers can choose between a six-speed manual EA67F transmission or an eight-speed automatic UC80F “GR-DAT” gearbox, paired with an all-wheel-drive system. Notably, this model does not feature the hybrid system and eCVT transmission found in the standard version.

Lexus will not distribute this model through conventional means. Instead, prospective owners in Japan must enter a lottery to gain the opportunity to purchase the LBX Morizo RR Original Edition, highlighting the exclusivity of this limited edition.

While Lexus has not disclosed the official price of the LBX Morizo RR Original Edition, it is expected to be significantly higher than the standard model, which is currently priced at 6.5 million Yen (approximately 1.13 billion VND). This price tag may seem substantial for an urban SUV measuring just 4,190 mm in length, but it is justified by the unique features Lexus offers: individuality, exclusivity, and impressive performance.

The introduction of the LBX Morizo RR Original Edition demonstrates Lexus’ commitment not only to luxury but also to creating distinctive, high-performance vehicles that cater to customers seeking a unique driving experience and a stand-out vehicle.
