A severe traffic accident occurred on the Cau Gie-Ninh Binh Expressway near the Cao Bo Toll Station in Ninh Binh province around 5:25 pm on July 9, 2025. The incident was captured by the dashboard camera of a passing car.

According to initial information, at the aforementioned time, a 7-seater car with unknown license plates was traveling on the Cau Gie-Ninh Binh Expressway towards Thanh Hoa province. As it approached the Cao Bo Toll Station, the car suddenly blew out its tire, veering to the left and crashing into the median.
The impact caused the 7-seater to flip over. However, it didn’t stop there; it also collided with a passenger bus with the license plate number 29H-083.xx, which was traveling in the same direction behind it. After the collision, the 7-seater spun multiple times on the road while the bus came to a stop a little further ahead.
The accident ejected several occupants of the 7-seater car onto the expressway. Tragically, one person from the 7-seater car succumbed to their injuries and died, while the others sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

At the accident site, the 7-seater car was severely damaged, and its contents were strewn across the road. The accident caused a traffic jam on the Cau Gie-Ninh Binh Expressway towards Thanh Hoa province.
Upon receiving the report, Team 3 of the Highway Patrol quickly arrived at the scene to manage traffic, investigate the scene, and determine the cause of the accident.
