Luxury watchmaker Richard Mille has collaborated with bespoke motorcycle brand Brough Superior to create the ultimate superbike, the RMB01.

The RMB01 was unveiled at the Le Mans Classic 2025 event in France and will be limited to just 150 units globally.

RMB01 boasts impressive dimensions with a length of 2,114 mm, a width of 725.5 mm, a wheelbase of 1,493 mm, and a seat height of 808 mm. It features a low-slung handlebar and a forward-leaning riding position, reminiscent of premium sportbike styling.

The design of the RMB01 takes inspiration from classic American racing bikes of the early 20th century, infused with a minimalist philosophy and aerodynamic efficiency. It sports an elongated fuel tank, a sleek seat, and an exposed engine, creating a powerful “mechanized” aesthetic while maintaining modern appeal through intricate rounded edges.

The front end of the bike is a seamless unit, integrating a windscreen and aerodynamic winglets to increase downforce at high speeds. Compared to its predecessor, the AMB 001, the RMB01 now features LED headlights.

The entire frame is crafted from carbon fiber with a lightweight alloy exoskeleton, optimizing weight and torsional rigidity. A standout design element, true to the Richard Mille spirit, are the 17-inch wheels featuring a mechanical gear-inspired design, reminiscent of the tourbillon mechanism in their luxury watches. Details such as the axles and brake discs are also crafted in harmony with the layered mechanical structure.

RMB01 features a mechanical-style instrument cluster with a dial resembling Richard Mille timepieces, complete with the vehicle’s badge and serial number.

Powering the Brough Superior RMB01 is a 997 cc, 2-cylinder engine crafted from aluminum-magnesium alloy, delivering an impressive 130 horsepower. The engine is paired with a 6-speed cassette gearbox with a hydraulic multi-plate clutch and traction control system.

The front suspension is a Fior-designed independent system with a double triangle linkage, CNC-machined from aluminum, and offering adjustable compression and rebound with an 85 mm travel. The rear suspension utilizes a direct-mounted aluminum CNC swingarm, reducing weight and increasing rigidity. The monoshock rear suspension is fully adjustable with an 113 mm travel.

Every mechanical detail is handcrafted in France by Brough Superior artisans, adhering to the same standards as Richard Mille timepieces.

RMB01 is offered in three distinct versions: Pearl of Speed in matte white with red accents, Selene in matte grey with orange accents, and Noctural Sapphire in sapphire blue and grey.

While the official pricing has not been announced, experts predict the RMB01 will carry a price tag of at least 150,000 USD (3.92 billion VND), based on the pricing of previous superlative models such as the AMB 001.

The collaboration between Richard Mille and Brough Superior on the RMB01 goes beyond mere speed; it’s a fusion of mechanical engineering, artistic design, and exquisite craftsmanship. Much like how a Richard Mille timepiece displays time through its intricate moving gears, the RMB01 showcases its performance through a dynamic, exposed machine.
