Motorcycle Sales: Over 164,000 Units Sold, an Impressive 8.2% Increase
Honda Vietnam reported a remarkable performance in June 2025, with sales of 164,584 motorcycles, reflecting an 8.2% increase compared to June 2024. From the start of the 2025 financial year (April 2025) to the end of June 2025, cumulative sales reached 512,448 units, equivalent to a 7.7% year-on-year growth.
This positive outcome is noteworthy, given the traditional motorcycle market’s saturation and the increasing competition from affordable electric vehicle options. With over 164,000 units sold in a single month, Honda solidifies its leadership position in Vietnam’s motorcycle market.
Honda Vietnam is strategically expanding into the electric motorcycle segment, having launched the Honda Icon:e in April and introducing the Honda CUV e: for rent in July.
Automobile Sales: Surpassing Expectations with a 10.3% Growth
In the automobile sector, Honda Vietnam witnessed a notable 10.3% year-on-year growth in sales, selling 1,523 vehicles in June 2025. This marks the third consecutive month of positive automobile sales performance for the company.
The cumulative sales from April to June 2025 reached 5,149 units, representing an impressive 18.0% increase compared to the same period in the previous financial year. These results showcase the market’s recovery from a period of stagnation and highlight Honda’s successful efforts in enhancing vehicle designs, promotional campaigns, and customer experience optimization.
Both core business segments of Honda Vietnam demonstrated promising growth in June, amidst market competition and economic fluctuations. Maintaining consistent monthly growth is a positive sign, especially with the automobile sector exhibiting a faster-than-predicted recovery, presenting opportunities for remarkable growth in the upcoming quarters.
