A well-known supercar showroom in Ho Chi Minh City recently caused a stir by displaying the one-of-a-kind Koenigsegg CCX, a million-dollar supercar, alongside other exquisite supercars and luxury vehicles. However, all eyes were on the Swedish supercar.

This isn’t the first time the Koenigsegg CCX has been spotted in Ho Chi Minh City, but it’s the first time it’s been showcased in a specialized supercar dealership. The reason for its presence was soon revealed. Specifically, the car was in the city for cleaning and maintenance, but whether it stays or returns to Haiphong remains a big question.

Last year, the million-dollar Koenigsegg CCX attracted significant attention from car enthusiasts in Vietnam when it was registered after years of being in the country.

This also sparked some controversies, as some people argued that the hypercar had only recently been registered in Haiphong, while others claimed it had been in the country since 2018, making it one of the earliest Koenigseggs in Vietnam.

The Koenigsegg CCX, owned by a businessman from Haiphong, is powered by a 4.7-liter supercharged V8 engine, producing a staggering 800 horsepower.

The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive, propelling the Koenigsegg CCX from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds, and on to a top speed of 402 km/h.

With only 30 Koenigsegg CCXs ever produced worldwide, and some of them having been involved in serious accidents, the rarity and exclusivity of this Swedish supercar are undeniable.
