Wuling has recently introduced an updated version of its electric vehicle, the Bingo, for the Southeast Asian market.

This 2026 model year update includes two new variants, the Pro and Lite, offering a wider range of options to customers. In addition to the vibrant color options of yellow Lemon, green Avocado, brown Milk Tea, and blue Galaxy Blue, Wuling has introduced Tungsten Steel grey exclusively for the Pro version and Starry Black for the Lite model.

The Bingo EV 2026 retains its classic, rounded design aesthetics, complemented by features such as frameless wipers, electrically adjustable side mirrors, chrome side molding, turn signals integrated into the mirrors, and a diamond-patterned grille.

Catering to a wider audience, the Lite version is positioned as a more accessible option with a lower price point. Consequently, the features on this variant are kept basic, including Halogen headlights and single-tone alloy wheels. In contrast, the Pro variant steps up with full LED lighting, two-tone alloy wheels, and a rear defogger.

Inside the cabin, the Wuling Bingo 2026 receives a mild upgrade with convenience features such as smart start, keyless entry, a multifunction steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, a central touchscreen, smartphone connectivity, and a four-speaker audio system.

The Lite version sports a Mocha Latte-themed interior with fabric upholstery on the seats and doors, evoking a classic ambiance. On the other hand, the Pro variant boasts a Caramel Latte (light brown and white) interior with synthetic leather upholstery, a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and additional safety features like Cruise Control and a front passenger airbag.

In terms of safety, the Wuling Bingo 2026 is equipped with dual front airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), electronic parking brake, and auto brake hold. Additionally, it features a rearview camera, parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchors, a tire pressure monitoring system, and an immobilizer anti-theft system.

Powering the Bingo 2026 is an electric motor that generates 67 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque. Both the Lite and Pro variants are fitted with a MAGIC battery pack, offering a capacity of 31.9 kWh and an impressive maximum range of 333 kilometers on a single charge.

One notable upgrade on the Wuling Bingo 2026 is the adoption of the CCS2 charging standard, replacing the previous GB/T standard. This new standard supports DC fast charging, enabling the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in just 35 minutes, a crucial advantage for daily electric vehicle users.

In Indonesia, the Wuling Bingo 2026 is priced competitively, starting from 279 to 332 million Rupiah (approximately 446 to 531 million VND). The vehicle is also available in Vietnam, where it is offered in four variants with prices ranging from 349 to 569 million VND.

With these updates and technological enhancements, Wuling demonstrates its commitment to refining its electric vehicle offerings in the Southeast Asian market. This strategic move helps the brand maintain its appeal amidst intensifying competition from Chinese, Japanese, and Korean automakers in the region.
