As reported, a car event held at the Dai Nam racetrack in Binh Duong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, attracted tens of thousands of attendees, including hundreds of modified, sports, luxury, and supercars.
Several celebrities in the car enthusiast community were present, and the center of attention was Cuong “Dollar,” who arrived in a surprising choice of vehicle.
While one might expect to see him arrive in a supercar, Cuong “Dollar” chose to drive a Toyota 86 manual transmission car, which left many car enthusiasts impressed.
Cuong “Dollar,” the husband of Dam Thu Trang, only spent a few hundred million VND on this Toyota 86, but he invested heavily in modifications and upgrades to enhance the driving experience. According to insiders, he spent hundreds of millions of VND on aftermarket parts and accessories.
After a comprehensive exterior and interior detailing and engine bay cleaning that made the car look brand new, Cuong “Dollar” installed a set of Rays TE37 S-Plus 18-inch wheels with a bold single-spoke design in a striking bronze finish. Accompanying the wheels are GRMN 6-piston brakes – GR Master Nurburgring Limited Edition, a perfect match for this sports car.
Other notable upgrades include Ohlins Road & Track suspension and a Tomei titanium exhaust system (including titanium headers) that gives the car an impressive sound during acceleration. Under the hood, he added an Armaspeed carbon engine cover.
Inspired by the legendary Toyota 2000GT, the Toyota 86 features a 2+2 fastback style with dimensions of 4,240 x 1,775 x 1,320 mm and a wheelbase of 2,570 mm.
The mid-life refresh of the Toyota 86 includes subtle design tweaks to the front and rear bumpers, lighting signatures, and more. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with a 10-spoke design that contrasts Gun Metal Grey with bright chrome accents.
Powering the Toyota 86 is a 2.0-liter FA20 I4 direct-injection engine that produces 204 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 212 Nm of torque between 6,400 and 6,800 rpm. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds.

The Toyota 86 manual transmission car owned by Cuong “Dollar” has undergone an extreme transformation with an expensive modification, costing more than what he initially paid for this JDM car. On a whim, he decided to take the car out for a secret spin one night, keeping it a mystery even from his wife.
